Our support offer

1:1 support for those living with DA

Our outreach team work with those who are still experiencing domestic abuse, intensively for 6 sessions, this can be via phone, online or in person, depending on your situation. At the end of 6 weeks the support will be reviewed and assessed what further support will be needed.

“This service has not only given me validation and reassurance that it wasn’t my fault but has also given me confidence with everybody else around me. I’m more confident to speak my mind and stick up for myself not just with my ex but other people.”

Children & Young People

We have an outreach worker working with children and young people across Shropshire.

You may refer your children to the service or be referred in by a professional. We aim to work with children and young people for around 6-8 sessions, working on their emotional well being after being victims of Domestic Abuse. Children are now legally seen as being victims in their own right, if they have witnessed domestic abuse or even lived in the same household where domestic abuse has occurred.

Support & Advice in Community– Clinics & Drop Ins

  • Clinics

These are supportive one off sessions online with one of our support workers, they can be requested once you have rung our main number and been triaged.

We will listen and support you and try and answer any queries you have and help to sign post you to specific areas of support, as required. You will be provided with the details of how to book yourself a clinic appointment.

  • Drop in’s

We hold a series of drop-in sessions across Shropshire each month.

Our drop-in service is made up of a range of community-based meeting points attended by a specialist Domestic Abuse Support Officer. Drop-ins run on a monthly timetable so people can see a Domestic Abuse Worker face-to-face if they wish. The drop-ins are open to anyone over 16 who needs information, support or advice about domestic abuse.

If you are attending a drop in please ask for Sadie.

These sessions are a great opportunity to chat with a member of our team, ask questions, and find out what support is available. The drop ins are held in spaces across Shropshire in connection with other agencies and charities. See timetable below for details.
